Precision Rifle Series (PRS) is a long-range and precision rifle-based shooting competition. Colemans Creek is part of the Atlantic Coast Regional Series. Our PRS matches will consist of ten 90-second stages and will incorporate prone, modified prone & positional shooting. Targets will range from 300-1600 yards with an average of 500-700 yards. This match is designed to test your team’s ability to work find, range, communicate, and engage targets from 5 to 1200 Yards while on the clock. We will be running 6 stages. Guardian matches consist of 8-10 precision rifle stages on Saturday as an individual event and 5-6 stages on Sunday as a team event. Sunday teams are determined by the Saturday results. The field is “folded” and the first place shooter from Saturday is paired with the lowest scoring shooter from Saturday. The shooters that performed well on Saturday (typically more experienced shooters) have a great opportunity throughout Sunday to mentor and help those with less experience.

Put your skills to the test at the Colemans Creek Geissele Gas Gun Competition. Competitors will navigate 8 - 10 stages, combining pistol and gas gun engagements, with targets ranging from 25 to 800 yards. Each stage demands precision and adaptability, with shooting positions including prone, offhand, and positional. This unlimited round-count event follows a HIT-TO-MOVE and TIME PLUS format, challenging participants to perform under pressure. Divisions will compete for trophies, with camping, cold water, and lunch provided to ensure an unforgettable experience.

Experience the challenge and excitement of natural terrain shooting at the Colemans Creek Hunter. Located in the scenic woodlands of Ellerbe, NC, our premier training facility offers unmatched opportunities to test your skills across a diverse and dynamic landscape. Shooters will engage targets from 150 to 950 yards, navigating varied environments designed to replicate real-world hunting scenarios. Tripods are strongly recommended for this event.

May 30 - June 1, 2025

This is a team competition that will test the shooter's abilities to engage targets from 10 yards to 1700 yards! The teams will face a wide variety of challenging engagements. Competitors must focus on their marksmanship skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The team sniper season is capped off by our annual two-day Sniper Competition in December. This event entails a solo rifle competition in which participants will engage seven steel targets positioned at distances ranging from 600 yards to 1750 yards, all from a prone shooting position. Each shooter will be allocated 30 rounds and afforded a time limit of 15 minutes to maximize their impact count. It is imperative for shooters to engage targets in a sequence from nearest to farthest, ensuring each target is impacted twice before proceeding to the subsequent target. The competition will be divided into two distinct categories: Heavy, for rifles weighing between 40 and 26 pounds, and Light, encompassing rifles weighing 25 pounds or less.

This match is designed to accommodate the "wiser crowd" who will enjoy competing against likeminded individuals. These stages will be geared to reward accuracy, ability to call wind and solid fundamentals. Make no mistake though, these will be fun stages. These targets will range from 100 yards to 1267 Yards while on the clock.
