Ranges & Terrain
Range 1: 100 Meter Zero Range
Range One: A versatile 100-yard zero range with adjustable paper targets from five to 100 yards. Ideal for zeroing pistols, carbines, and rifles before heading to the distance ranges and for carbine marksmanship training. This range features a spacious overhang, firing area for prone shooting or benches, and convenient vehicle access for easy equipment handling.
Four 270 Degree Flat Bay Ranges
270 Degree Bays: Colemans Creek provides four 270-degree flat range bays, comprising three 50-yard bays and one 25-yard bay. These bays are ideal for practicing dynamic shooting scenarios and preparing for three-gun matches. Users can utilize a variety of steel and paper targets in these bays to customize their preferred shooting stages.
Range 2: 40 Meter Pistol Only Range
Range Two: Designated for pistol caliber use only, this range provides an excellent space for refining pistol fundamentals. While pistol caliber carbines (PCCs) are permitted, carbines and shotguns are not allowed. The range features steel targets ranging from 10 to 40 yards, including both static and falling targets. Users can enjoy the convenience of a protective overhang to shield against inclement weather and a well-maintained turf field.
Range 3: 50 Meter Flat Range
Range Three: The 50-yard flat range offers an ideal space for shooting and movement exercises. Ample room is available for practicing pistol, carbine, and shotgun drills. Targets consist of paper targets arranged on a static line, providing a versatile environment for various training scenarios.
Range 4: 300 Meter / 325 Yards Carbine Range
Range Four: This range is an UKD multipurpose flat range with numerous targets blended into the rolling terrain. Range four is specifically designed for carbine use, providing an opportunity to extend the range. It features multiple steel targets ranging from 50 to 300 yards. Additionally, the range offers various props to enhance dynamic positional shooting exercises.
Range 7: 1,200 Meter / 1,310 Yards
Range Seven: Range seven at Colemans Creek is among the longer ranges, featuring a variety of steel targets spanning from 100 to 1,300 yards. It is carved between rows of trees on either side with a rolling terrain. It includes a truing bar to aid in obtaining accurate muzzle velocities for rifles. It is a 150’ drop to the furthest target. This range boasts over 50 AR500 steel targets of various sizes and distances. An overhang provides shelter in inclement weather, allowing continuous training. The range is equipped with shooting benches and props to accommodate various shooting positions.

Range 6: 1-Mile Range / 1,760 Yards
Range Six: Range 6 at Colemans Creek stands as the one-mile range, offering a unique opportunity on the East Coast for long-distance shooting. It serves as an excellent space to thoroughly assess your rifle's capabilities and for military training it provides a more realistic shooting environment.. The range features a turf platform for prone shooting, along with shooting benches and props for varied shooting positions. Multiple steel targets are positioned from 100 yards out to the impressive one-mile mark. (a 4’x4’ target which looks small from a mile away!)
Range 5: 700 Meter / 765 Yards Range
Range Five: Range five marks the start of the long-range options at Colemans Creek, reaching up to 750 yards. It features multiple steel targets across a spacious firing area. Additionally, there's a well-appointed deck for shooting.
Range 8: 800 Meter / 875 Yards Range
Range Eight: Range eight at Colemans Creek extends to approximately 900 yards with a broad sector of fire, providing an excellent setting for team training in talk-ons and wide transitions. Known as the Western Front, range eight is unmatched in its uniqueness and realism. This UKD range features 125+ acres with targets from 350 meters to 830 meters and a 90 degree range fan. The range is equipped with a diverse array of props, including tires, cattle gates, tank traps, and the PRS barricade, offering a versatile environment for various shooting scenarios.
Land Navigation
Land Navigation can be performed using designated portions of the facility that keep students out of harms way from the ranges. The property has a wide selection of terrain from nearly flat to steep hills as well as open areas to thick brush. Way points can be customized to fit the training needs of the unit.
HLZ / DZ
Certified DZ and HLZ complete your training needs. Our military surveyed grass DZ is 200m x 400m (20 acres) and HLZs are throughout the facility.
